Right now in this world, with Australia already having voted in a Labor governmment , as it's called in a parliamentary state, with impeachment of "Dead Eye Dick" now in the US House Judiciary Committee thanks to Dennis J Kucinich and others, and at least all the justification for the Liberals in Canada along with other parties in oppositon, having as they do a great majority of the seats in the Canadian House of Commons to force a vote of confidence on and an opportunity to winn it against Stephen Harper's Conservative government, again the term in a parliamentary state, thus forcing an election on the neo cans, the Canadian version of neo cons, it would be fair to say that this could be case of three out of three ain't bad for a Happy New Year start.
Yes, that's right political fans, impeachment is back on the table and support for holding impeachment hearings on "Dead Eye Dick" in the judiciary committee which hold the potential for bringing out the truth offer more than a glimmer of hope. Furthermore, John Conyers, who chairs this committee has said even though Nancy Pelosi has said impeachment is "off the table," Conyers has said it's not "off his table."
In Canada, Harper's Conservative government, with all its toadying up to W and his neo cons hasn't gone over at all, and the time may be ripe for the Liberals and other oppositon parties to capitalize on it by forcing a confidence vote they should be able to win, thus forcing an election on the Conservatives that they have a "great opportunity" to lose to give
Canada a real break from all their neo con rip offs and bowing and scraping before W.
Happy New Year everybody!

As a senator Hilary Rodham Clanton (emphasis on the Klan, as she apparently plans to be like her husband who approved the execution of a retarded black kid right before the 1992 election) couldn't start World War III on this planet today, but as president, with her all too itchy trigger finger on the nuclear trigger, she could; and her negatives among US voters showing in one at 50% who don't want her to be president before the GOP attack machine has even started really going into action against her, say she's dead meat in the election and probably the GOP's best hope for holding hte presidency and retaking the congress.
Whom would HRC like to bomb? Maybe it would be better to ask which country after Iran? Yes, that would be a good start. But then why even consider such a trigger happy individual, for one of the most powerful offices in this world, given how easily such madness could lead to World War III? HRC is an individual who makes Maggie Thatcher, the British "Iron Lady" look like a bleeding heart liberal. Furthermore, Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St Clair contend she's just a Goldwater Republican anyway. Read what they have said about her in Counter Punch. They lay it all out chapter and verse. This is a person who may even be more dangerous than W and his crew, because she has the official Democratic label and thus protective coloration but yet supports W's dangerous, insane neo con policies with too few exceptions. In some cases it seems as though she's really trying to be more of a war monger than W. As for negatives, this writer, who happens to have ended up getting sensitive inside information from GOP polls which are in depth and came from someone at a high level in a Midwestern state GOP organization and show HRC to be an outright loser for the Democrats, who likely end up losing the presidency by a big enough marging that congress could easily and likely go back to the GOP. Ask Nancy Pelosi how she would like being called minority leader again, and do the same for Harry Reid. How's that for "electability"? If people want to hand over the edge to the GOP, which Diebold can't provide the party with, then they should vote for HRC in the caucuses and primaries. As a "good old boy" from the South who predicted not jus t the actual outcome of the 1992 presidential race but even the margin of victory-- four to six points for the Democrats, with reporoductive freedom and a US economy which would dive as the dominant issues helping the Democrats in 1992, this writer says all the above. Republicans have to be rooting for an HRC win at the Democratic Convention. Wouldn't it be "just terrible" to disabppoint them? Even better, what about if Dennis J Kucinich were to emerge at the head of the Democratic national ticket? But that woudl be "just too unfair" to the GOP. Wednesday, December 12

Today in the USA, this country needs George Soros and other Progressives who have money to step up to the plate for the NBK or nobody but Dennis J Kucinich for president movement, not just for Kucinich, but for the sake of the survival of any semblance of democracy and to insure absolute accountability from W and his neo con, Straussian gangsters who have turned eithics on its head in such an Orwellian manner to such a degree that war equals peace, tyranny by the rich and super rich here and else where equals democracy, lies equal truth, and right on across a whole spectrum of crucial moral issues which surely these progressives must know either will prevail or all they and the rest of progressives care about will be lost, for Kucinich is the only presidential candidate who is so steadifastly and completely standing up for impeachment and thus forcing accountability on these criminal types and standing up so firmly against a foreign policy of endless war which will surely bring down any shred of democracy we have left. "The time for hesitation's through. . ." as that old Doors song puts it.
Those of us who come from the 1960s generation know that we must "question authority." If not now, then when if ever will we? If not us, then we must ask ourselves who? We must act now as our love of democracy, accountability, and all that goes with that demand. Later may be too late. In other nation and city states, people have waited until it was too late. Let's not be next on this list of dishonor. We have a choice. But make it we must or the neo con gangsters will make it for us. As John Buell points out so aptly in his article in the December 11th, that's today's Common Dreams, the real center for the voters is where Kucinich is and not the center for the big business types which he refers to as the "corporate center." Arthur M Schlesinger Jr put it equally as well when he points out that liberals are the political center in this cxountry, and actually what he called the "vital center." Sunday, December 2

Right now in the USA an NBK (nobody but Kucinich, Dennis J Kucinich) for president movemnent is the desparately needed cure for the neo consitpation of the USA which has led to so much hell on Earth for far too many for far too long by ending a foreign policy of endless war and a domestic policy of anything but benigh neglect of such US social needs as education, health care, infrastructure and attacks on civil liberties enshrined in the US Constitution by forcing accountablitiy on W and his gang with the only tool which the country can now avail itself of, impeachment, and impeachment is thanks to Kucinich and the folly of Republicans who voted for Kucinich's resolution back on the table and in the US House Judiciary Committee. Add to that the fact that no other presidential candidate has really pushed for impeachment, and even sponsored such resolution. With the prospect of hearings which this may provide, the truth may yet come out, which is anything but what the phony, superficial neo cans want in the least. Hey, let them make the American people's day! Pleade do! What's that the "good book,' as W calls it, says, "Know the truth, and it will set you free." Damn, if that isn't the gospel. Hallelieia! Furthermore, it's not absolutely crucial that impeachment and removal is entirely successful. That isn't the point, as hearings which might well come out of such a discussion will likely bring out enough of the truth to completely discredit the phony, lying, superficial neo con criminals now in charge of the executive branch of the US Government and grabbing for all the power they can get as fast as they can get it. Democracy can only survive if those who are fighting for it can force accountability on these gangsters. Otherwise, democracy in the USA isn't just in peril, it's headed for extinction like so many species which these gangsters have aided in the extinction of.
This is the challenge, and in meeting it, people must be bold and creative as Kucinich and some others backing him have been. Democracy isn't a spectator sport. It must have participation, but what it must also absolutely have, as Thomas Jefferson once said is an "informed populace," but that won't be likely to happen without support for impeachment to bring these neo con criminal tyrants to account and to justice which they have so systematically denied to others. Perhaps this generation, as the one in Franklin D Roosevelt's day, "has a rendezvous with destiny." In meeting that challenge then NBK offers this country real hope. "Keep hope alive," and leave the neo con nut case tyranny and nightmare behind. For those at the top level of the neo con movement are crazy as hell, genuflecting as they do before Leo Strauss, who outdid Nicolo Machiavelli by saying not only must those who hold power lie to keep it, they are morally right to do so, thus standing ethics on its head as only full fledged pathological types would. W's view that the US Constitution is nothing more than a scrap "of paper' exemplifies the views of the loony toons top neo con gangsters. Moreover, when self appointed "realists" in the mainstream media or else where come out saying Kucinich can't win, people need to simply look at how the American people's views on domestc and foreign policy are so overwhelmingly in sinch with Kucinich as opposed to all the other presidential candidates including the "front runners" as appointed by the same mainstream media, and this almost surely is more the case with Democrats, that if the American people simply vote their own views in the primaries and caucuses, then Kucinich should have no trouble winning on the first ballot at the Democratic Convention. To verify this, just check Tom Gallagher's article in Common Dreams from November 19th this year. Then with the American people also doing the same in the actual election Kucinch should have no trouble winning by a big enough margin that even Diebold couldn't steal the presiential contest for the GOP the way no less a figure than Robert F Kennedy Jr has concluded they did in 2004. |
