Is Mel Gibson capable, even as silly and stupidly anti Semitic as he was in that incident covered by the US press back in August, at all capable of giving such big time bigots as the Pope (Mr Hitler Youth denier) Billy and Franklin Graham and W any real competition? Let's get real! Sure Gibson anti Semitism is obvious and a disgrace, but why isn't the US press as near eager to take on those holding so much religious and or political power or both as Billy and Franklin Graham, the Pope, and W. No they just won't touch that. It must be because they're such "brave souls." I mean it must really be a "challenge" taking on Gibson, but taking on W, the Pope, and the Grahams-- don't hold the old breath on that.

Yes, the old reliably full of BS, American mainstream press really knows how to pick those easy old targets, not that Gibson didn't damn well deserve it. But when it comes to those who wield religious or political power or both, don't bet on this gang really getting at interested in going after the facts to inform the American people. Hell, that would be rocking the old boat on this "wonderful old Titanic." Now "don't even think about that," because these "concerned journalists" aren't about to "waste" their time or in anyway or jeopardize their careers or love affair with those in power when they can just fawn all over them, and especially if they're hard core neo cons. "Why" their bosses "wouldn't have it any other way."

Arlington TX is a suburb of Dallas and currently the site of much fight club activitiy by teenagers often paid to be involved in fights in which the participants throw punches left and right and stomp the hell out of each other just like a lot of people not living in such a Protestant evangelical, neo con, W worshipping area would likely predict they would. After all once anybody gets here he or she knows that individual isn't in Canada or any other decent, civilized country anymore. It sure is strange how these "Christian" folks do anything but turn the other cheek or love their neighbor. Nor is this absolutely nutty phenomenon confined to this town, but it has been really on display here in the heart of "Christian territory" in a hard core red state with the "family values" of the green back dollar, which is really what a lot of this is all about is some completely sociopathic bastards making a buck off this blood sport or worst kind. Insane is almost too kind.

Also in the hard core red state of Utah, Chase Leavett, the son of the governor at the time "good old" Chase was arrested for his involvement in this sociopathic pastime at a Mormon church gym in Salt Lake City. Now "isn't that just lovely." Damn, how these "devout Christians" can show us all how to behave like Pagans. But then their morality is that lower than that of animals in a zoo anyway. What the hell should anyone expect from money grubbing, green back dollar worshipping foks anyway?

Brad Pitt made a sociopathic movie that was really a puke, and today kids imitate his psycho behavior with little criticism from parents, who when asked claim they didn't know their kids were involved in such mindless, absolutely inhuman behavior that would probably be good training them to become a part of the US military's terrorist wars on Third World people.

Parents overwhelmingly claim they don't know about these things, if they don't know, like those in the Third Reich not knowing about the Holocaust, it was because they didn't want to know, because this goes on all too often in broad daylight. These people are almost as Christian as those who screamed for Christ to be crucified. If this is what these people call Christian civilization, we sure don't need to be concerned about the barbarians at the gates. Hell, they're already on the inside big time!

If British Labor were to have a party conference and dump Tony Blair before our midterm election, with Americans being the Anglophilic types they truly are, it holds the the potential to put the neo cons, and especially the GOP, on the run, but so much depends on the Democrats going on the offensive to use it, and doing so all out. The time for half stepping
is done on this thing. "There's no time to wallow in the mind," as that old Doors song says.

It's up to the Demcrats, but it's been that way for some time. Do they have the guts to get on with kicking neo con booty or not? That's the crucial question.

On September 12 the state of New York's Democrats will have an opportunity to choose a strong and real voice for liberal and progressive ideas or to cast their lot with Clinton, but if they choose to drop Clinton for Jonathan Tasini, who is a real progressive, then they can be proud of themselves, and give the state the opportunity to elect a true anti war, progressive senator, which is almost surely what will happen if they choose Tasini in this very blue state.

Were Clinton's stands on policy issues well enough known, which they aren't, it would probably be a walk for Tasini, but the mainstream press in the state has been very good at keeping that quite as they have of keeping Tasini's candidacy almost a secret to the voters by absolutely and irresponsibly refusing to cover it, even though his stands are most definitely more in tune with those of the state's voters, and most especially the Democrats.
But this blog article will be an attempt to at least let the good Democrats of that state know what Clinton's stands are, and having already cited Tasini as being Clinton's opponent in the primary, it shouldn't be necessary to do it again. The facts are, as George Seldes, used to say, Clinton's stands include backing the funding time and again for the Star Wars rip off/neo con Pentagon gravy train program, backing the death penalty which so disproportionately is applied to blacks, other people of color, and poor whites; as well as backing a ban on flag
burning, opposes gay marriage, and has for six years been on the board of Wal-Mart. Liberal, she isn't. But maybe neo con she comes real close to being-- way to close with all her support for this adminsitration,. That's probably the reason that such solid progressives as Cindy Sheehan, the Rosa Parks of today's anti war movement, and Jeff Cohen, founder and once head FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting), a progressive watchdog group, are backing Tasini and are also calling on Clinton to stop hiding out from debates with Tasini as the good Demcrats of the state deserve the opportunity to see where both stand on the issues of public policy.

If Tasini wins, be assured the Democrats will prevail in that senate contest, and almost surely by a big margin. The right wing, war monger gang is on the run. Let's keep it that way.
